The 35th ASEAN Cosmetic Scientific Body (ACSB) meeting was held in May 2022, during which it introduced new changes to cosmetic ingredients in the Annexes of the ASEAN Cosmetic Directive (ACD), including adding 1 prohibited ingredient, 1 restricted ingredient, 1 permitted preservative, as well as amending requirements for 1 prohibited ingredient, 10 restricted ingredients and 2 permitted preservatives.
