On July 21, 2020, China released two draft subsidiary measures of the Cosmetic Supervision and Administration Regulation (CSAR), namely Administrative Measures on Cosmetic Registration (Draft for Comments) and Supervision and Administration Measures on Cosmetics Manufacture and Operation (Draft for Comments). The draft Administrative Measures regulates the requirements for filing and registration of finished products and new cosmetic ingredients in China, while the draft Supervision and Administration Measures details the obligations of cosmetic manufacturers and operators.
