On May 27, 2022, Philippines Food and Drug Administration (FDA) released a draft of Updated Guidelines on the Unified Licensing Requirements and Procedures of the Food and Drug Administration Repealing Administrative Order No. 2020-0017 (the Updated Guidelines) for public comments. It is formulated to repeal the Administrative Order (AO) No. 2020-0017, otherwise known as the "Revised Guidelines on the Unified Licensing Requirements and Procedures of the Food and Drug Administration Repealing Administrative Order No. 2016-0003".
