Summary

On November 24, 2023, China National Institutes for Food and Drug Control (NIFDC) initiated a public consultation on 20 draft testing methods. Sixteen of these pertain to toothpaste determination, covering aspects such as pH value, free formaldehyde content, heavy metal content, and microbiological test. The remaining four methods are related to cosmetic ingredients and toxicological tests. Stakeholders with any comments can mail to hzpbwh@nifdc.org.cn before December 15, 2023.
