Background

Recently, China NMPA released the draft version of Administrative Measures for Filing of Non-special Use Cosmetics. The draft releases an important signal that there is a big possibility that imported non-special use cosmetics will be exempt from mandatory animal testing. This is undoubtedly great news for overseas companies, while for special use cosmetics, also comes great news. NMPA released an announcement detailing the renewal procedure of special-use cosmetics license. The review period is significantly reduced to only 15 days from submission of the application to issuance of the renewed license.

In this webinar, Ms. Vicky Sun from REACH24H is going to discuss about the latest changes of China cosmetic regulations from 3 parts: the first part is about the new draft of Administrative Measures for Filing of Non-special Use Cosmetics and animal testing; the second part is about the changes of special-use cosmetics renewal;  and an interpretation on the trend of 2019 China cosmetic regulation will be made in the final part.
