FAQs
Q1: What information does the report include?
›
Each report provides a detailed overview of regulatory requirements for the selected substance in cosmetics within the specified country or region—such as China, the EU, the U.S., Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. Content typically includes regulatory status, substance definitions, usage restrictions or concentration limits, and relevant references.
Q2: What’s the difference between the “Ingredient Search Tool” and the “High-Concern Substances Database”?
›
The “Ingredient Search Tool” compiles permitted, banned, and restricted cosmetic ingredients across 11 regions currently: Mainland China, Taiwan (China), Japan, South Korea, ASEAN, India, EU, UK, US, Canada, and New Zealand. It allows real-time searches to quickly check an ingredient’s current regulatory status, including the use basis, application fields, and usage conditions. The “High-Concern Substances Database” focuses on cosmetic ingredients of higher regulatory risk or industrial widespread concern which are carefully selected by ChemLinked team. The “High-Concern Substances Database” covers a wider and deeper range of related information and more regions as well which could offer more thinking and analysis. Reports on selected substances are delivered in either Word or Excel format, based on the client's preference, and can be purchased by any company without membership restrictions.
Q3: How can a report be ordered?
›
To order a report, simply select the substance you need information about, choose your target country or region, and proceed to checkout. The report will be delivered to your email within 3 business days after payment confirmation.
Q4: Can multiple countries or regions be included in a single report?
›
Yes, you can select multiple countries or regions for a single substance in one report. This comprehensive approach allows you to compare regulatory requirements across different markets efficiently.
Q5: Are additional services available?
›
Yes, we offer additional consulting services including regulatory compliance assessments, custom research reports, and expert consultation for complex regulatory scenarios. Contact our team for personalized solutions.
