On Dec. 21, 2020, Indonesia BPOM released the draft amendments to Application of 2D Barcode in the Control of Drugs and Food for public consultation.
Application of 2D Barcode in the Control of Drugs and Food regulates the following products must be labeled with 2D Barcode on the packaging:
a. Drug;
b. Traditional medicine;
c. Quasi-drugs;
d. Health Supplement;
e. Cosmetics;
f. Processed food.
