On December 31, 2020, the draft Administrative Measures on Cosmetic Registration officially passed the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) and was renamed Administrative Measures on Cosmetics Registration and Notification. On January 12, 2021, the finalized regulation's full text was officially published and will take effect on May 1, 2021.
