This standard specifies the principles, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, test procedures, calculation of results, recovery rate and precision, tolerances, etc. of the high performance liquid chromatography method for the determination of para red in lip cosmetics.

This standard applies to the determination of para red in lip cosmetics such as lipstick, lip balm, lip glaze and lip gloss.
