On February 1, 2023, Indonesia announced the repeal of the Regulation for the Determination of Forms of Cosmetic Preparations, which was initially formulated to facilitate the determination of cosmetic preparations' forms in public services, particularly in GMP certification. The regulation, however, has become redundant since the specifications for determining the forms of cosmetic preparations have already been outlined in Annex 12 of the Technical Requirements for Cosmetic Good Manufacturing Practices Certification. As a result, the Regulation for the Determination of Forms of Cosmetic Preparations has been revoked.

Although this regulation has been revoked, its requirements have been reiterated in other regulations, rendering the revocation inconsequential for enterprises.
