SCCS/1618/20: Scientific Advice on the Safety of Nanomaterials in Cosmetics

On January 8, 2021, following a mandate by the European Commission, the Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS) published the Scientific Advice on the Safety of Nanomaterials in Cosmetics, which highlights the key attributes of nanomaterials that should raise safety concerns for a safety assessor.
