On June 28, 2024, Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) published the finalized Cosmetic Categories for Which Manufacturing Premises Shall Comply with Cosmetics Good Manufacturing Practice Regulations, aiming to replace Cosmetic Categories That Shall Comply with Cosmetics Good Manufacturing Practice Regulations. In line with the discontinuation of the specific purpose cosmetics category from July 1, 2024, the new regulation revises the terminology used in it, and clarifies its applicable scope.
