This standard applies to cosmetic ingredient. It indictes cosmetic ingredient,  including any impurities contained therein, shall not include anything that any causes infection or that otherwise makes the use of cosmetics a potential hazard.

According to this general provision, this standard stipulates following ingredient lists:

1. Negative list

• Prohibition on inclusion of ingredients other than preservatives, UV absorbers and tar colors)

2. Positive list

• Limitation on Inclusion of Preservatives in Cosmetics

• Limitation on Inclusion of UV Absorbers in Cosmetics

• Permitted Tar Colors

• Limitation on Inclusion of Ingredients other than Preservatives, UV Absorbers and Tar Colors in Cosmetics
