On April 14, 2023, the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (Anvisa) published the Regulatory Instruction No. 220/2023, establishing the List of Active Ingredients Permitted in Cosmetic Products for Hair Straightening or Curling. The regulation has been in effect since May 2, 2023.
