On August 11, 2021, the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (Anvisa) issued the Resolution RDC No. 528/2021, establishing the List of Permitted Preservatives in Personal Hygiene Products, Cosmetics, and Perfumes. The regulation took effect immediately upon its release.
