On April 11, 2013, the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (Anvisa) published Resolution RDC No. 19/2013, which establishes the minimum technical requirements related to safety, efficacy, and labelling for the registration of insect repellent cosmetic products in Brazil. This regulation has been effective since its publication.
