On November 6, 2025, the Thai Food and Drug Administration (Thai FDA) released three draft notifications concerning microneedle cosmetics for public consultation, with comments accepted until November 25, 2025. The proposed regulations seek to prohibit the manufacture, import, and sale of most microneedle cosmetics, while specifying exemptions and labeling requirements for certain permitted products. Once officially adopted, all three notifications will take effect the day after publication in the Government Gazette. Businesses holding existing product notifications will be granted a 180-day transition period to update their product labeling to comply with the new requirements.
