On April 28, 2025, the Indonesian Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) released its 2025 Legislative Plan. Subsequently, on November 18, 2025, BPOM issued and enacted Decree No. 577 of 2025, amending its 2025 Legislative Plan. In the cosmetics sector, the amendments are the removal of the following items from the legislative agenda:
Amendments to BPOM Regulation No. 12 of 2023 concerning the Supervision of the Manufacture and Circulation of Cosmetics; and
BPOM Regulation concerning the Second Amendment to BPOM Regulation No. 27 of 2022 on the Supervision of the Entry of Drugs and Food into the Territory of Indonesia.
