On April 23, 2026, Indonesian Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) released a second draft of its revised regulation concerning the Guidelines for Follow-up on Supervision Results of Traditional Medicines, Quasi Drugs, Health Supplements, and Cosmetics. The new draft introduces a more structured, detailed, and stringent framework for classifying violations and imposing sanctions. It aims to consolidate enforcement actions from various regulations into a single, comprehensive guideline, replacing the current BPOM Regulation No. 19 of 2021.
