This document describes a method for evaluating the anti-hair loss efficacy of cosmetic products by measuring changes in hair shedding counts, hair density, and self-assessment parameters before and after use. Compared with the current method in the Safety and Technical Standards for Cosmetics (STSC), this draft updates test objectives, subject selection criteria, and test procedures, ensuring alignment with current regulatory requirements and strengthening test quality control.
