In Japan, approved ingredients for quasi-drugs will be listed on Japanese Standards of Quasi-drug Ingredients 2006, and the application for manufacturing or selling certain quasi-drugs using listed ingredients can be simplified. But there exist approved additives that haven't been listed the Standard yet. In order to relieve the burden of applicants, Japan compiled these additives into the Collections of Quasi-drugs Additives Standards, and the content description in the application form can be exempted if using additives included in the Collection.
