This standard applies to the determination of coumarin in creams, lipsticks, lotions, loose powders and shampoos. The detection limit of coumarin is 4 mg/kg, and quantitation limit is 8 mg/kg; the detection limit of dihyrocoumarin is 10 mg/kg, and quantitation limit is 20 mg/kg; the detection limit of 7-methoxycoumarin, 7-methylcoumarin, 7-ethoxy-4-methylcoumarin, dicoumarin and vinegar coumarin is 5 mg/kg, and quantitation limit is 10 mg/kg.
