Summary

In March 2019, Thailand Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) issued a notification detailing restriction on the use of 2 permitted UV filters—zinc oxide and titanium dioxide—in the form of nanoparticles in cosmetics.

Along with the amendments to the usage restrictions of these two UV filters, their labeling requirements are also modified.
