On December 16, 2025, China's National Institutes for Food and Drug Control (NIFDC) officially released the Technical Guidelines for Research on Anti-Hair Loss Cosmetics (Trial), and the Technical Guidelines for Research on Efficacy-Related Ingredients of Anti-Hair Loss Cosmetics (Trial). The guidelines formally introduce the concept of "anti-hair loss auxiliary agents" and set out updated criteria for distinguishing them from anti-hair loss agents, together with revised requirements for ingredients and finished product quality control and efficacy evaluation.
Under this new framework, how should anti-hair loss agents be distinguished from auxiliary agents? Does it open up new pathways for product registration? And how can companies prepare dossiers that align with the updated requirements?
To support industry stakeholders in addressing these questions, refining registration strategies, and managing compliance risks, ChemLinked has invited Iris Zhou from REACH24H to share practical insights into the key requirements for anti-hair loss cosmetic registration under the new guidelines. Covering both efficacy evaluation and safety assessment, this webinar will explore common technical challenges, clarify common regulatory questions, and outline practical approaches to support compliant product development and registration submission.
