Cosmetic Technical and Safety Standard (2015)

Analysis:

  1. Standard of CFU: according to Cosmetic Hygiene Standard (2007), for eye products, oral mucosa products and infant or children cosmetics, CFU should be no more than 500CFU/ml (g), for ordinary products, CFU should be no more than 1000CFU/ml (g);
  2. Standard of clobetasol propionate: according to Cosmetic Technical and Safety Standard (2015), clobetasol propionate belongs to glucocorticoid hormones category, which may lead to facial black spot, facial shrinking and corticosteroid-dependent dermatitis, and is banned to use in cosmetics;
  3. Standard of acrylamide: according to Cosmetic Technical and Safety Standard (2015), acrylamide is a carcinogen and banned as a component in cosmetics. But acrylamide is a common residual in cosmetics, and when used in leave-on products, acrylamide as residual should be no more than 0.1mg/kg;
  4. Standard of 2,6-diaminopyridine: according to Cosmetic Hygiene Standard (2007), 2,6-diaminopyridine should be no more than 0.0004% in cosmetics
  5. Standard of Isobutyl 4-hydroxybenzoate: according to Cosmetic Technical and Safety Standard (2015), Isobutyl 4-hydroxybenzoate is a preservative and is banned to use in cosmetics.
