This method is applicable to the determination of trivalent chromium and hexavalent chromium in cosmetics by high-performance liquid chromatography–inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. It is suitable for creams, lotions, liquid (water- and oil-based) products, gels, powders, solid products, and mud-type cosmetics.
