Notice of the Ministry of Health on Issuing the Provisions on the Naming of Health-Related Products

These Provisions are formulated in accordance with the Food Hygiene Law of the People's Republic of China, Regulations Concerning the Hygiene Supervision over Cosmetics, the Measures for the Administration of Dietary Supplements, the Measures for the Administration of Disinfection, the Measure for the Supervision and Administration of the Sanitation of Drinking Water and related laws, rules and regulations for purposes of ensuring the scientific and standardized naming of health related products and protecting the lawful rights and interests of consumers.
