This regulation is applicable to cosmetics in Korea. This regulation is to collect, review and evaluate the safety information when using the cosmetics.

On May 28, 2020, MFDS disclosed the draft of Regulation on the Management of Safety Information for Cosmetics. As the solid soap designated as cosmetics in 2019, the responsible cosmetics enterprises shall be in compliance with the requirements of submitting the safety dossiers of solid soap. To ease the burden of small and micro businesses, the authority intends to exempt the solid soap enterprises with less than two coworkers from the regular submission of the relevant safety dossiers.
