Summary

The regulation specifies the types of color additives allowed for use in cosmetics, standards and testing methods of color additives.

MFDS promulgated the amendments to Types, Standards and Test Methods of Cosmetic Color Additives on July 20, 2020. As per the superordinate law classified the solid soap as cosmetics, the colors of Pigment Violet 23 and Pigment Green 7 are added as the permitted color additives for solid soap.
