The Cosmetics Act B.E. 2558 (2015) is the current overarching cosmetic regulation in Thailand, with 9 Sections and 94 Articles. It stipulates the requirements for the application, renewal, change, and revocation of cosmetic notification, as well as the requirements for cosmetic labeling, advertising, administrative penalties, etc.
On October 12, 2022, Thailand published the Cosmetics Act (No. 2) B.E. 2565 (2022) in the Government Gazette (Vol. 139, Chapter 63) to amend the existing Cosmetic Act B.E. 2558 (2015). The 2022 Act took effect from the date of publication.
