Summary

Business actors who obtain halal certificates from BPJPH after March 1, 2022, are obligated to incorporate a halal label in compliance with BPJPH Decree No. 40 of 2022 on the Determination of the Halal Label.

This regulation provides guidelines on how business actors who have previously used the halal logo of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) on their product packaging can transition to the new halal logo issued by BPJPH. Additionally, it includes detailed instructions for halal labeling requirements.
