On April 11, 2024, Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) released the draft of Cosmetic Categories Required to Establish the Product Information File and Effective Dates (2024), aiming to replace the 2019 version. In line with the discontinuation of the specific purpose cosmetics category from July 1, 2024, the draft proposes to update the expressions used in the regulation, and expand its applicable scope.
