On June 26, 2024, Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) released the finalized Cosmetic Categories Required to Establish the Product Information File and Effective Dates (2024), aiming to replace the 2019 version. In line with the discontinuation of the specific purpose cosmetics category from July 1, 2024, the new regulation revises the terminology used in it, and updates its applicable scope.
