On February 9, 2025, the China National Institutes for Food and Drug Control (NIFDC) updated the Ingredient Usage Information of Marketed Products (hereinafter referred to as the Ingredient Information), replacing the previous version released on April 30, 2024.

The Ingredient Information released on April 30, 2024, includes 2,234 ingredients and 4,415 usage information entries. On November 15, 2024, the NIFDC released the Ingredient Usage Information of Marketed Products (Revised Draft for Public Consultation), which included 3,578 ingredients and 5,240 usage information entries. The latest update, based on these previous versions, now includes 3,608 ingredients and 7,672 usage information entries, with additional application areas such as body hair and nails (fingers and toes).
