On November 15, 2024, the National Institutes for Food and Drug Control (NIFDC) issued a notice to solicit public opinion on the draft of Ingredient Usage Information of Marketed Products. 

Proposed modifications include:

• The inventory is expanded to include 3,578 ingredients and 5,240 items of ingredient usage information.

• The product scope is expanded to include the validly filed cosmetics (general cosmetics).

• The priorities for determining use concentrations for each application site, especially for body hair, are clarified.
