On November 15, 2024, the National Institutes for Food and Drug Control (NIFDC) issued a notice to solicit public opinion on the draft of Ingredient Usage Information of Marketed Products.
Proposed modifications include:
The inventory is expanded to include 3,578 ingredients and 5,240 items of ingredient usage information.
The product scope is expanded to include the validly filed cosmetics (general cosmetics).
The priorities for determining use concentrations for each application site, especially for body hair, are clarified.
