On July 14, 2025, Malaysia National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) released Circular No. 1/2025 Information on the Updated Status of Ingredients in the Annex of the Guidelines for Control of Cosmetic Products in Malaysia. The amendments align with the amendments made to the ingredient annexes of the ASEAN Cosmetic Directive (ACD) during the 41^st ASEAN Cosmetic Committee (ACC) and the ASEAN Cosmetic Scientific Body (ACSB) meeting.

According to the Circular, the amendments are:

1) Annex II: List of Prohibited Ingredients: 1 Revised and 1 Added

2) Annex III: List of Restricted Ingredients: 1 Revised
