On July 9, 2025, the Drug Administration of Vietnam (DAV) issued Official Letter 1938/QLD-MP to announce the updated ingredient annexes approved during the 41st ASEAN Cosmetic Scientific Body (ACSB) meeting. The key amendments of ingredient annexes include: 

1) Annex II - List of Prohibited Ingredients: 1 revised and 2 added;

2) Annex III - List of Restricted Ingredients: 1 revised.
