On April 29, 2026, Indonesia's Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) promulgated Regulation No. 8 of 2026 concerning the Technical Requirements for Cosmetic GMP Certification, which replaces the previous Regulation No. 33 of 2021.
While the regulation is effective immediately upon promulgation, previously issued GMP certificates, GMP aspect fulfillment certificates, and shared facility approvals under Regulation No. 33 of 2021 remain valid until their respective expiration dates.
