As stipulated in the Cosmetic Act B.E. 2558 (2015), local cosmetic manufacturers or importers must notify authorities of their intention to market products in Thailand. The notification receipts (cosmetic licenses) remain valid for three years from the issue date and can be renewed.

On Sep. 6, 2018, Thailand FDA issued detailed renewal requirements, which includes the requirements for issuance of notification receipt, renewal of notification receipt and medication of notification receipt.

The regulation consists of 6 chapters with 14 articles and several annexes.
