China NIFDC Issues Corrigendum for Safety and Technical Standards for Cosmetics (STSC)

On May 22, 2026, the National Institutes for Food and Drug Control (NIFDC) issued a notice regarding corrigendum information for the Safety and Technical Standards for Cosmetics (STSC), addressing mainly textual errors in "Chapter 4 Physical and Chemical Testing Methods for Cosmetics". Relevant testing methods should henceforth be implemented in accordance with the revised content.1

Tracking South Korea’s Cosmetic Safety Assessment Regulations
South Korea has established a cosmetic safety assessment system through the partial amendment to the Cosmetics Act (Act No. 21302, promulgated on December 30, 2025).
