The newly issued standards introduce product-specific technical requirements across five commonly used cosmetic categories—face wash, body wash, face and body scrubs, cosmetic oral rinses, and sunscreens—while the two revised standards update requirements for lipsalve and the cosmetic ingredient petroleum jelly.
