Takehome:
An inspection revealed that most of the product test samples in cosmetic shops are contaminated with pathogenic microorganisms. The MFDS pressed the Consumer Associations to formulate rules to regulate the cosmetic test samples.
The inspection investigated 42 kinds of cosmetics test samples in 16 popular shops. Most of the samples are lidless, which allow exposure to dust, dampness in the air and pose a risk of cross contamination. Besides, the samples were not labeled with unsealing date.
