On April 3, 2026, South Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) announced a temporary measure permitting the use of stickers for labeling on alternative packaging for cosmetic products. This regulatory flexibility is designed to support businesses facing shortages of packaging materials due to international supply chain disruptions, such as the conflict in the Middle East. The policy is effective from April 5, 2026, and will last for six months, with the possibility of being terminated early or extended based on circumstances.
