Taiwan regulates that companies shall apply for GMP certificates based on the dosage form of cosmetic products. To clarify the classification of cosmetic dosage form, Taiwan MOHW has recently released a document named Cosmetic Dosage Form Classification Principles for cosmetic companies’ reference. Cosmetic companies can directly assess their cosmetic dosage form according to the document when applying for GMP certificates.
The document lists 10 types of dosage form and specifies corresponding cosmetic categories, details shown below:
