Thailand officially approved two announcements revising warning statements for fluoride compounds in cosmetic products and introducing new mandatory labeling requirements for fluoridated toothpaste, with a two-year transition period for updating existing labels.
On December 24, 2025, Thailand officially approved two draft announcements concerning labeling requirements for fluoridated toothpaste, as originally proposed on February 28, 2025. These announcements revise existing warning statements for cosmetic products containing certain fluoride compounds and introduce new mandatory labeling requirements for fluoride-containing toothpaste. Both announcements entered into force on the day following their publication in the Government Gazette.
