This Procedure Manual stipulates the general requirements for halal certification (including raw material, products, menus and services, processing, storage, equipment and hardware, packaging, labeling and advertising, transportation and distribution, premises, employee, sanitation, employee facilities and welfare, training, Malaysian halal management system, tools and elements of worship, compliance with laws and regulations, contract manufacturing/OEM), application procedure, halal certification scheme, application conditions and criteria, product certification and services, payment, etc.
This Procedure Manual shall be referred and applied to the company or Malaysian halal certification applicants who:
(a) registered locally or abroad; and
(b) running a company or product production and/or domestic services
