Summary

On Nov. 14, 2022, Indonesia released the updated Regulation for Supervision on the Entry of Drugs and Food into the Territory of Indonesia, replacing the previous 2017 version. The updated regulation came into effect on Dec. 15, 2022.

The regulation stipulates the entry requirements for imported drugs (including cosmetics) and food. Enterprises of imported cosmetic products are required to obtain an import certificate (SKI Post Border) prior to entering Indonesia. Drugs and food that are not stated in SKI Post Border are prohibited from importing into Indonesia.
