On Apr. 28, 2021, China NMPA released the Working Rules for Management of Cosmetic Supplementary Testing Methods together with a supporting document-Technical Guidance for Studying and Drafting Cosmetics Supplementary Testing Methods (the "Technical Guidance") . The Technical Guidance is designed to normalize the study and development of cosmetics supplementary testing methods and ensure the scientificity, universality and timeliness of cosmetics supplementary testing methods.
