CFDA Appoints Two More Approved Testing Institutions for Cosmetic Registration

CFDA appoint "Chongqing Institute for Food and Drug Control" and "Hubei Institute for Drug Control" as approved testing institutions for cosmetic registration.

This announcement will be enacted on May 1st 2017. These two institutions will take the responsibility of microbiological test, hygiene chemical test and toxicological test, and generate testing reports to support application for registration of new ingredients, domestic special use cosmetics and first import cosmetics. The qualifications of these institutions will last for 4 years.
