On April 24, 2026, China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) officially released the "2026 Cosmetic Standards Project Plan". The plan outlines 27 projects for the development or revision of standards related to cosmetic ingredients, test methods, and safety and efficacy evaluation. Compared with the draft published on April 14, the final plan retains all 27 projects, with only minor adjustments to project titles.1
